Meet our newest team member – Johnathon Brandt

I’m thrilled to be joining the Alaska Wealth Advisors team as an Associate Financial Advisor. My name is Johnathon Brandt, and I bring with me a diverse background in accounting and fiduciary services, along with a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.

My journey in the world of finance began with my academic pursuits at the University of Montana, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting. Eager to further my knowledge and expertise, I pursued a master’s degree in accounting from East Tennessee State University. Equipped with a solid foundation in accounting principles, I embarked on my professional career at a trust company in Tennessee.

However, life had other plans for me, as I made the bold decision to relocate to the beautiful state of Alaska to be with my wonderful wife, Tori. Embracing new opportunities, I transitioned to Peak Trust Company, where I served as an Associate Director of Fiduciary Services. During my time there, I gained invaluable experience in wealth management and estate planning, deepening my understanding of the intricacies of financial planning and being a fiduciary.

Now, I’m pleased to bring my expertise to Alaska Wealth Advisors, where I’ll be working closely with clients as they navigate their financial journeys. I’m committed to providing personalized solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, whether it’s planning for retirement, managing investments, or helping clients through the good and bad times.

In addition to my professional pursuits, I’ve also dedicated myself to continuous learning and growth in the field of finance. I’ve recently passed my Series 65 exam and am currently working towards obtaining my CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) and CFP® designations. I believe that staying abreast of industry trends and best practices is essential to delivering the highest level of service to our clients.

Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors with my wife, Tori, and our wonderful dog Bella. Our adventurous spirit has led us on many great adventures in Alaska and our one true love is Prince William Sound. We both serve on the board of directors for the Prince William Sound Stewardship Foundation. We also spend our free time volunteering with Make-A-Wish, Food Bank of Alaska, and various initiatives in Prince William Sound.

I’m genuinely excited to be a part of the Alaska Wealth Advisors team and look forward to building meaningful relationships while working with a team of experts.
