Cathie joined APCM in 2009 to work with individual clients, transitioning into her current role as an owner/Director of Alaska Wealth Advisors when it was formed in 2014. Cathie brought years of financial expertise with her from her previous career at Ernst & Young CPAs, followed by 18 years as a partner in Financial Resources Inc, a boutique financial advisory firm. With her CPA background, Cathie excels at advanced financial planning strategies, helping clients with their complex financial planning needs. She is sought after to work with clients who have experienced a major life transition, such as losing a spouse, going through a divorce, or figuring out their retirement strategy. Cathie empowers her clients to feel confident in their financial future, no matter how complex their situation might be.

Cathie’s community involvement is extensive, having been recognized as a YWCA Woman of Achievement in 2015. She currently serves on the board of Great Land Trust, along with numerous committees and advisory roles for non-profits in Alaska. When Cathie isn’t working or volunteering, she can be found hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, and definitely on her yoga mat anytime of the year.
