This year it is easy to define all the things I have been missing as I am sure it is a long list for you as well. I miss hugging family and friends outside my bubble, meeting new people with a handshake and non-masked smiles, and live music to name a few. As a woman who is getting ‘long in the tooth,’ I have come to realize that thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. It is with this knowledge that I remember all the things for which I am grateful. Topping my list is family and friends who are committed to staying connected via facetime or distanced/masked walks, a workplace that was prepared and adapted quickly to working from home and helping clients navigate the new normal through virtual meetings. As we head into Thanksgiving week, while this year has been difficult, it is a great time to step back and take joy in the little things that surround us still; good food, beautiful outdoors and making new memories with loved ones.

We are wishing you and yours a healthy and happy holiday, filled with gratitude for the good things in our lives.
